How to pilot it
Akali, Rogue Assassin pulls a friendly unit out of a showdown back to base on your turn, and readies it once Empowered. The deck wins by moving: Akali, Silent gains +2 Might every time she arrives at a battlefield and cannot be chosen outside combat, Jhin adds energy every time he moves, Pakaa Protector draws or grows every time he moves, Pendulum Blade gives +2 on arrival. You attack where they are weak, leave before the fight you lose, and come back bigger.
Mulligans: keep Lonely Poro or Mournful Witness, Disarming Rake, and one of Perfect Execution or Resonating Strike. Send back hands with two five-costs or no unit under four.
Early game: Lonely Poro holds a battlefield alone and draws when it dies. Mournful Witness Empowers after any combat it was in and stays a 4 from then on, so trade it early and keep it. Disarming Rake kills a gear on arrival. Eager Drakehound enters ready, so it attacks the turn it lands. Skyward Strike moves an enemy out of your way for two, and stuns it once you have 6 XP.
Mid game: Akali, Silent comes down and starts moving: Resonating Strike sends her to a battlefield you hold with +2 on top of her own +2, Perfect Execution readies her with Assault 3 for a second attack, Pendulum Blade on her is +2 more each arrival. Jhin has Ganking and Deflect and pays you an energy and a rune every move, so he funds the tricks he carries. Twilight Reveler readies another unit when he attacks. Emperor's Divide, hidden, pulls every unit at a battlefield home for free when the fight turns, and the legend does the same for one unit. Brittle Steel kills a gear, Smite and Ruthless Strike kill a unit.
Late game: Pakaa Protector moves every turn and keeps the hand full. Threshold of the Gray hands both players an energy when combat starts, which your cheap tricks spend better than their big units. Void Gate adds one damage to every Smite, Ruthless Strike and Skyward stun. Star Spring sends a wounded unit home when you play another there, then it comes back by Resonating Strike.
Mistakes to avoid: - Leaving Akali, Silent on a battlefield where she can be fought by two units; she wins one on one and loses crowds - Readying Jhin with Perfect Execution without moving him first; the move is the energy - Playing Emperor's Divide from hand when it could sit hidden for free - Moving a unit with no reason; each move should trigger Akali, Jhin, Pakaa or the Blade
