RiftAtlas

RiftAtlas is a fan built platform carrying a card database, a deck builder and an online game client that runs in the browser. What makes it worth a page here is simple: you can open it and play a real game of Riftbound with no account, no download and no payment.

Why we point at it

No account, no fee, no install

What separates RiftAtlas from other platforms is not a feature. It is what it does not ask you for.

  • There is no user account system at all. Their privacy policy states plainly that the site does not offer accounts; your decks and session state live in your own browser.
  • No paid tier is advertised anywhere on the site. There is an optional donation link, which their own terms describe as supporting the project and granting no entitlements.
  • Nothing to install. It is browser only, with no mobile app and no client download.

Play modes

Four modes, and which to start with

The mode names on the site are in English, and we keep them exactly as they appear on the buttons.

Solo Play

Good for: Your first game

Play alone, either goldfishing your own deck or driving both sides. This is where to learn the interface, because nobody is waiting on you.

Private Room

Good for: Playing a specific friend

Create a room and send the code, or enter a code to join one. This is the only mode that lets you pair players deliberately.

Quick Match

Good for: A game right now

Queue and get matched, in constructed or sealed. This is the mode for when you want to play and have nobody scheduled.

Spectate

Good for: Watching and learning

Join by room code to watch. It is one of the fastest ways to learn, and it is what makes broadcasting a community tournament possible.

Quality of life

Three things worth knowing before your first game

These three are why people who try this client for the first time tend to stay, especially the first one.

Rewind
Undo a misclick instead of rebuilding the board state by hand. For a beginner this is the single most important feature on the site.
Auto-pay
Routine resource costs are resolved for you, while still showing each payment, so you keep learning where the money went.
Showdown assist
Both players confirm the order before a showdown resolves, which is exactly the step new players fumble at a physical table.

Zero to first game

Six steps

The whole thing takes a few minutes if you already have a deck in mind.

The steps may differ slightly from what is written here. We reconstructed this order from the structure of their site rather than clicking every button ourselves, so if a button does not match a name below, trust the screen in front of you. Tell us and we will fix it.

  1. Open riftatlas.com

No signup, no login. You are in.

  2. Get a deck first

Build one in their deck builder, or take a list from the community decks section. If you would rather not build anything right now, take the sealed path instead.

  3. Launch the client

The game client is a separate app from the main site. It opens in a new tab at play.riftatlas.com.

  4. Bring the deck in

Choose a saved deck, or paste a decklist in as text.

  5. Pick a mode

For a first game, Solo Play, so you can learn the interface with nobody waiting. Move to a Private Room with a friend after that.

  6. Play

Rewind is there for mistakes, which is why a first game here is less daunting than it sounds.

For the Thai community

Can we run our own tournaments on it

Yes, with one limitation to plan around: there is no bracket manager built into the site. What it gives you is private rooms with codes. Everything else is the organiser's job.

  • Private Room codes are the primitive. An organiser pairs players and sends each pair a room code.
  • Pairings, standings and results happen outside the site, which is exactly the part a Thai organiser can already provide.
  • Spectate makes coverage of the deep rounds possible without asking players to share their own screens.
  • Because there is no account to make, a newcomer can join on the day. There is no signup step to lose people at.

RiftAtlas is an independent fan project, operated by a registered company in Germany. It has no connection to ThaiRift and is not endorsed by Riot Games. The facts on this page were checked against their site on 29 August 2026; a third party site can change at any time without telling anybody.
